Super Junior fans will get another chance to groove up close with South Korean hotties when they return for Super Show 3

After South Korean Super Junior blew us away with their sell-out Super Show 2 last year, we will expect no less than Perfection – also the title of the third and latest release by their Madarin sub-group Super Junior-M late last month – when they return for their third concert series.

Similar to Super Show 2 last year, Super Show 3,the group’s third Asia tour, to be held here at Putra Indoor Stadium in Bukit Jalil,Kuala Lumpur on March 19 will boast an ingenious stage design with rockpits where ardent fans may catch their favourite idols up close during their high energy three hour gig.

Touted as the world’s largest boyband in the world, Super Junior debuted in 2005 with 13 members. Signed to SM Entertainment, the group, aged between 23 and 27, is currently fronted by 10 active members – Donghae, Ryeowook, Leeteuk, Kyuhyun, Sungmin, Heechul, Shindong, Siwon, Eunhyuk and Yesung and occasionally Henry Lau (member of sub group Super Junior M). Two of their original members have left to pursue solo careers – Hangeng as a singer and Kibum as an actor.

The 20 show Super Show 3 kicked off in Seoul, South Korea last August and features 12 other cities: Qingdao, Beijing, Nanjing, Guangzhou and Shanghai (China), Bangkok (Thailand), Yokohama (Japan), Taipei (Taiwan), Manila (Philippines), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Malaysia and Singapore.

This will probably be their last large-scale show for Super Junior as the lads are set to take turns to serve their mandatory two-year national service. Kang-In,26, already took a hiatus from the group to fulfill his conscription.

This year,Leeteuk and Heechul are slated to enlist while Yesung may join next year.

Having won multiple awards in their native South Korea, Super Junior are only the second singing group to win Favourite Artist Korea at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards after JTL in 2003. To date, they have made famous a string of infectious dance pop tunes through four hit albums in Korean.

With a week to go before their highly anticipated show in KL, here’s something to pep up enthusiasm of the truckloads of Super Junior fans in Malaysia: an exclusive Q&A in conjunction with Super Show 3 supplied by Running Into The Sun, the Singapore based organiser of the Malaysian leg of their third Asian tour.
